Grey, rainy, cold

Not nearly the blue-skied Bavarian paradise I had envisioned, today Munich looks much more like I think London or Amsterdam would. It’s been a steady, light rain ever since I touched down, which is several hours ago now. I’m in my room and have already changed into warmer clothing: jeans, an undershirt, and a zip up hoodie on top of my t-shirt. All is very, very well. Soon I’ll head out of my room in search of an internet cafe (to post this) and also to open a bank account, so I can start the process of receiving my stipend.

There have already been logistical complications which make me fret over the expediency of my stipend disbursal. More on that later. I am safe and in a place to stay and will feed myself very soon, so please no one worry!

Give me a day or two to start the ball rolling on the businessy things I need to take care of, then I’ll start posting fun stories. I have many already.
