E-mail!

Back in action. The problem was that I just couldn’t get a strong enough signal from the open hotspots I know, and so for days I’d been seeing “no new messages on the server.” That should have tipped me off that something was wrong, but I’m kind of slow sometimes. Especially when I’m freezing my ass off in the courtyard at 2am trying to load a webpage. Sigh.

The good news is that I’ve finally registered with the wireless campus network, as I matriculated only this week, meaning I’ve newly gotten my login information in addition to a really snazzy student ID. I get a terribly weak signal for the wireless in my room, but if I sit out on my balcony, it’s pretty respectable. This is way better than hunting hotspots in the wild.

I’ll post about my solid weekend shortly, as I first must throw up an album to document the antics.
