Headlines: almost as good as songtitles
I think it’s rather well known that I collect killer strings of words. That’s why this week has been quite a doozy in terms of choice catches. Check out these utterly 1337 examples:
- Elephants electrocuted in drunken rampage
- Gay Enclaves Face Prospect of Being Passé
- Frog killer fungus ‘breakthrough’
- U.S. destroyer pursuing hijacked ship in Somali waters, military says
- A U.S. destroyer has entered Somali territorial waters in pursuit of a Japanese-owned ship loaded with benzene that was hijacked by pirates over the weekend, military officials said Monday.
- Apple Sends 3rd Grader Cease And Desist Letter
- The company replied to the young girl after she sent them some ideas to make the iPod Nano better.
- Blackwater men ‘given immunity’
- Private US security contractors accused of shooting dead 17 innocent Iraqis may have been offered partial immunity by the US state department, say reports.
Not too bad, huh? OK, the last one is kind of depressing, but I think “Elephants electrocuted in drunken rampage” is cool enough to compensate, no?
