Beowulf what!

A friend here got tickets to an advanced screening of the Beowulf movie, so I’ll be grunting and throwing around popcorn in a theater tonight. I’m very much looking forward to it, as it mixes up my normal routine of grunting and throwing around beer bottles in my room.

Beowulf rocks

I’m very much looking forward to how (or should I say whether?) the cinematography complements the CGI. From the previews I’ve seen, the target audience is definitely gamers, as every shot selected for the trailer had a distinct feeling of being lifted right from a video game cutscene.

Speaking of video games, in searching for fun images to stick in this post, I found an animated GIF of the warrior from Diablo 1. I’m really happy about this.

Hack! Slash!

Well, here’s hoping Neil Gaiman didn’t totally hose this one.
