O Tannenbaum…

Remember that Christmas tree I mentioned? It’s here, it’s grand. Craig and I scooped it up at a place not far from our dorm, paid 28€ for it. *sucks air in through teeth* But hey, splitting that up amongst our dorm floor, that’s two bucks a head. Not bad for such a sweet tree.

It’s a little ridiculous because it’s not actually a whole tree. I think we just bought the very top of an absolutely huge pine tree. But hey, that’s adorable in its own special way. Like Jukka, pictured, who’s breaking fast after a brutal night at Rockstudio. Apparently yesterday was Independence Day in Finland!

We all tossed in an extra euro and got some really ghetto lights and ornaments. We’re kind of counting on everyone to add an ornament of their own (I’ll find something very metal, fret not), but I don’t know whether that’ll actually happen. I accept our wiggly-topped Tannenbaum for what it is, though: awesome.
