If I were a metal god, I’d be a dick, too

I know what you’re thinking: I’m already a dick. But the thing is, if I were Kerry King, I’d be even more unbearable, as I think this video testifies.

This is an interview by some little whippersnapper who gets absolutely torn apart by King. He burns the kid for using his “The Reaper” pseudonym in the interview, and I’m sure it stung, even though King doesn’t know the difference between a sickle and a scythe.

Some of my favorite moments:

If you’re the fucking reaper, you gotta have a goddamn sickle with you all the time.

I’m gonna be generous and say 70% of the shit people give me sucks. But I will give it the two song minimum, you know? I’ll give it two songs, if it sucks, it’s out the window. You know? You’ll probably find CDs all over Southern California from me throwing them out the fucking window.

[on Guitar Hero] I did “Raining Blood” on medium, but once that fifth button comes into play, I’m fucked.

I don’t get Lamb Of God. […] Just, I don’t understand. I don’t get it. I watch those guys, and I just—it seems like—not Randy—but it looks like the band’s at rehearsal.

Man, he burned the hell out of some people. In particular, the interviewer is sore, but I’m sure the guitarists in Lamb Of God didn’t appreciate that comment. I’ve seen LoG live two or three times now, and they have no live show whatsoever, which is a shame, because some of their riffs are killer.
