I love this town. I’ve not actually sat down and written all the blog posts that flow through my head on an hourly basis, and I’m not going to do that now, either. But I do have pictures, and pictures are like stories.
There are mountains around town, mountains which I will be visiting tomorrow, actually.
Most of the city, at least the small section of it where I am, is small alleys. Finding new restaurants (and, I’ll be honest, photo opportunities) is a perpetual quest.
The streets are full of character, everywhere.
I think it’s clear that this place is beautiful, but I hope to make it clear that it’s really beautiful. Always.
That’s about all that should reasonably be stuffed into a single post, in my opinion. I plan on making many more, but that’s all for tonight, I think.

Dude I love that second picture so much.
Yeah, I’m really impressed with how the lefthand portion of it worked out. And this with a camera that I got for $100 new the day before leaving!
There’s one guy here I’m hanging with who takes amazing pictures, and he only Flickrs the high caliber ones, so I think that will step on me to 1) take better pictures and 2) trash the cruft. Here’s hoping.
I can’t see “Chungli” without thinking of “Chun-Li” and then I’ve got images of Street Fighter in my head all day.

Just thought it bring the level of discourse down a bit.
Please don’t think so.
BTW, I think I’m going to start writing it either Jhongli or Zhongli, because Chungli does not make any sense according to the Romanized Chinese I’ve learned. 中壢 is sweet and all, but it just doesn’t get the job done.
This decision is admittedly partially motivated by the fact that I can relate to Sub-Zero and Cinder more than Chun-Li. =(
Oh, and not to be all obnoxious and erudite, but I think the SF name would be written 中立, which means “neutral” or possibly “balanced.” Pronounced exactly the same.
Will got there before me. Second picture rules hard.
Yo I wanna be Sam Fisher all up in there.
