This blog was hastily thrown up in order to document a trip to Germany, September 2007 to June 2008. Since then, it has accreted experience in Taiwan, as well, as is still going strong.
The author is a college graduate, gunning for an eventual Ph.D. in social informatics or some similar field. His present occupations are working to pay the bills, reading anything but things relevant to his immediate existence, and listening to death metal.
Hopefully at some point in the near future, the muse will inspire him, as she is ever wont to do at unforeseeable junctures.
